Participating in BDE activities is a great way of getting involved in campus life and developing your altruistic qualities, organizational skills, and creativity.

Each year, a new BDE of students from the Professional Masters 1 and Professional Masters 2 programs is elected.
It is in charge of coordinating and promoting student life and fostering exchanges between the Group's schools for inter-school projects.

Every year the members of the BDE organize an orientation weekend in October. This weekend is open to all students and allows all of the IGS year groups to get together. The team also orchestrates a sponsorship evening.

Cultural outings, such as shows, plays, and historical tours are also offered.

Finally, the BDE offers student receptions and other after-work events organized with other schools.

For IGS year 2010/2011, the BDE Smart'IZ, was elected.

"Being a part of the BDE is a unique experience, and is a great opportunity to enrich your incipient career.
Managing the BDE means working as a team with people who often didn't know one another a year ago, and with whom you are going to end up developing close, strong relationships. We work in a field where people must remain the focal point of our concerns. Encouraging individuals to flourish, learn from each other, communicate and share their skills with others: that is the heart of the BDE's work.
We give of our time and energy so that all IGS students can participate in student life through fun activities, and cultural and sporting events. By taking a step back from the world of individual and corporate gain, we foster sharing, enthusiasm, and group activities within the school so that everyone can enjoy their school career.
Finally, taking an active part in student life in this way is an opportunity for us to put our studies into practice. Working in a team means being able to create a productive consensus. Working with suppliers and sponsors involves availability, credibility and responsibility. In this sense, becoming a part of the BDE is a learning experience with a very concrete objective.
