IGS continuously tracks developments in human resource careers

Because the Institut de Gestion sociale (IGS) is very serious about the quality of its students job placements, it tailors its programs to the requirements of future employers and places more priority on the professional expertise of its instructors and the number of years of experience they have working in human resources than their number of academic publications.

In order to fully prepare IGS graduates for the demands of the job market and its changes, and ensure that they have the required skills and qualities,IGS continously tracks developments in HR careers.


Strategic direction committee
A "strategic direction commitee" made up of 15 human resource directors from large industrial and service companies, representing their companies or professional organizatins, meet each semester to discuss changes in HR jobs and the skills expected of young employees.
Thus,the internationalization of HR careers ,talent management, and increased risk management (social, psychosocial, financial, legal, and fiscal) for human resources managers (HRM), as well as the strategist DRH who advises management and shares their key performance indicators, were promoted and modified for use wherever possible.


A "network of indicators"
Thanks to its 8,000 alumni working in HR, its 400 yearly corporate mentors and its 80 school mentors, IGS has an exceptional, real-time information network.
It finds out about how its students are perceived, their competitive advantages, their outstanding skills, and even improvements that need to be made.


A network of partner companies
Over the last 35 years, IGS has built a network of 4,500 partner companies that also track developments through
• Regular communication when receiving internship students
• Participation in skill validation panels
• Participating in graduation
• Sponsoring promotions
• Organizing conferences
• Organizing special modules
• Participating in seminars
• Participating in graduation


Membership in professional organizations
IGS management participates regularly in conventions, symposiums, conferences, work meetings and discussion groups carried out within professional organizations with HR experts and professionals.
This keeps it in tune with the issues faced by companies and experts.

IGS uses all of this gathered information to update its programs and their content to tailor them to the needs of companies, and to even anticipate some of their needs.
