The IGS Paris school offers two higher education programs approved by two degrees certified by the State:

A Professional Masters 1, that allows you to earn a state-certified level ! "Personal and Employment Management (RGPE - Bac+4) degree (code NSF 315p by the order in the JO of March 5, 2006)

A Professional Masters 2 program, which allows you to earn a state-certified level "Human Resources Management and Development - RMDRH (Bac+5)" degree (code NSF 315p by the order in the JO of March 5, 2006)


What is a state-recognized degree?

The official labels are guarantees of academic and professional quality. Certification is one of 4 labels (along with recognition, endorsement, and Masters grade)

Certification of a diploma gives it a professional aptitude level:
• Level III corresponds to an education level equal to a DUT, BTS or the end of the first higher education program (Bac +2),
• Level II corresponds to an education level equivalent to a Licence or Level II masters (Bac +3, Bac +4),
• Level 1 corresponds to a higher education level equivalent to a Masters (Bac +5).
Each educational level is related to a skills and responsibilities level. It enables its holder to earn this level to take a competitive exam, a test or apply for a job.


Who grants professional certifications?

The CNCP (French national commission for professional certifications) delivers an opinion, then it's the minister in charge of professional education who decides.
All of the diplomas issued by ministers, degrees issued by private or public organizations and professional qualification certifications issued by professional branches are concerned.

After the enactment of the social modernization law of January 17, 2002, all private and public initial or continued technology education institutions can request registration in the national directory of professional certifications. These are often specific, high-tech education programs.

Registration with the RNCP (National directory of professional certifications) certifies that the degree or diploma culminates in a profession.

This directory provides individuals and companys with continuously updated information about professional diplomas and degrees. It makes it easier to access employment, human resources management, and professional mobility Certifications registred in the directory are recognized throughout France. In practice, the RNCP lets you look at certification descriptions: targeted activities, business sector, acquired skills, access methods, level.

Each registration in the RNCP results in the draftng of a published order in the Journal Officiel. It is valid for 5 years.
